movie theater, disabled patron accommodations

As a nearby neighbor to New Braunfels with family here, I often take in movies at the Marketplace Cinema 12. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and the movie selections usually include the latest releases. My biggest criticism would be (and if this could be improved would increase my rating to at least four stars) the lack of consideration in the theatre's layout when it comes to older patrons and others who are not wheelchair bound, but who are still challenged in their mobility. I recently accompanied my 87-year-old father, my mom, and husband to a movie there. The feature we were seeing was showing on the farthest screen from the lobby, requiring my disabled dad who depends on a cane, to walk quite a distance. Although there were plenty of places for benches along the way, there was not one place where dad could stop, sit and catch his breath. On top of this, there is only one set of restrooms in the lobby, requiring any patron seeing movies in those most remote auditoriums to travel quite a distance and back should the need arise during their viewing of a movie. If some consideration of elderly or disabled people who are not using a wheelchair could be given by adding a bench or two, this would be a great service. Also, should this theatre undergo any rennovations in the near future, I would urge them to place the restrooms more strategically.
