I love it. I go here all the time and am impressed with how clean it's kept. Small theater fits its small town. Plays all the same movies as big city theaters and people there are very nice!
The theatre is ok, small and quaint I suppose. Maybe a step above the small town theatre I once saw that plays 2 movies at a time. Like that other theatre, this one unfortunatley doesn't carry a wide selection of movies, for instance-I have family in Nevada and Houston, TX who said "Marley and Me" was an awesome movie and my family would love it. So I went to see when the showtimes were and to my suprise it wasnt listed. Its a big name family movie so it would be nice to have had it playing at the local theatre.
The theatre size and seating is ok, not great but not horrible. I was dissapointed the snack bar didnt carry the regular sour patch kids candy, instead they have the gross sour patch watermelon kind. EWWW. But they did keep up with the overpriced snack bar trend.
Old theater used to play one movie at a time, because.....hmmm this was a very small town. It's still a small town so guess what...still a small theater. MUCH better than the old one and they do come out with all the same movies as the other theater, but due to not having as many screens, as say a Houston theater might (imagine that), they cannot keep the movies playing for as long a period. If you are from a big city, then you will be disappointed with the size of this theater, but me, who has lived here my entire life, learns to be grateful that we have this one and not the one screen theater anymore. What theater doesnt overprice their refreshments?? Atleast this theater is clean and fits the town it resides in.
