Every time I go to Kasbahs me and my friends have a great time. I am not sure who exactly these other people are talking about. The staff is always nice they sometimes question your questions, but now a days who doesn't. This environment is a very relaxing and way to become unstressed in time. The hookahs themselves might be a little pricey but they last for a long time and result they are the moneys worth. Me and my friends are very close to the owner and he never seems like he would punch anyone or much less spit in someones face. We usually go most often about 10 pm at night. We have the pleasure of sitting inside or outside, and we usually bring a crowd and they love us for it. We are soon to have our free hookah with our card. :D I love this place, staff, and owner.
I suppose my review could be summed up in one sentence; The owner of this establishment punched my friend in the face, and then hid behind his employees.
The terrible excuse for humans who own and operate this place demand you follow their illogical rules, regardless of the crowd level present.
With only 10 people in our party, and arriving at the late hour of 1:30am, we requested 2 hookahs. We were told we had to purchase 3. That's ok, we retorted, not everyone is going to be smoking, we only need 2. This was not acceptable, and the reasoning was, it was written on the wall. I guess some deity inscribed this proclamation on the wall, and unlike normal, thinking humans who are capable of compromise and are grateful for customers where there weren't customers before, the staff can never disobey the mighty wall.
After refusing to accept their proposal that we fork over 45 dollars and not 30, we were forcibly shoved out the door. Needless to say their was a commotion. All of their staff, many visibly intoxicated, threatened to fight us. The owner sucker punched my friend and fled to safety.
Never go to this place. Some one sane please open a hookah bar in this town.
To the darling below me, it's my friends and i, not me and my friends.
Let me be clear that I'm only giving them one star because it's impossible to give zero. Me and my friends went to celebrate a birthday at this place. There were 6 of us. They require 1 hookah per 2 people. In the 10 years that I've been smoking hookahs (I bought my first one in Israel) I've never heard of only having two people smoking one hookah. It is 1)wasteful and 2)takes forever to get through one usually resulting in giving you an icky feeling in your stomach.
Because we didn't want to ruin our friends birthday we reluctantly agreed to purchase a third hookah. At that point we were returned our money (minus the tip of course) and asked to leave. This has never happened to me in all my life. Of all the customers, we were likely the most calm and reserved, and there was no good reason to kick us out. Luckily we didn't take further action, or the owner might have spat in our face as happened to another girl who posted on the Yelp site. I wholeheartedly support a BOYCOTT and hope this place goes out of business in the near future.
My friends and I, goodness if your going to bash a resturant then at least do it with good grammar
ILMSCBBY ought to watch their own grammar before making useless comments on others' and equally useless reviews.
"I" should be capitalized and the comment should use "you're", a contraction of "you are", not "your", which is possessive.
Oh, the irony.

I was treated in a similar fashion this past weekend. Poor customer service to people that aren't friends of the management.
