REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL / SR. DOCUMENT ADMINISTRATOR
Position now open in down town Austin for a candidate that possesses the following skill set:
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Draft and organize leases, deeds, easements, affidavits and other documents related to securing real property rights for energy projects in Texas and the Southwestern US.
-Obtain and organize informal property ownership information through map companies and county tax records.
-Engage title companies and manage securing title commitments including negotiation of edits to title policies, clearing clouds on title and matching title commitment to survey and real estate instrument documents.
-Engage survey companies in preparing metes and bounds and plats, edit surveys to match real estate documents and title commitments.
-Perform abstract of lease, easement and other real estate agreements.
-Self perform and manage administration staff to organize and maintain a real estate document plant including pre contract negotiations, final executed documents and amendments and post execution administration records.
-Prepare packages of real estate documents, surveys, title commitment, Phase I site assessment and outside legal opinions on a project basis to support financial due diligence on energy projects.
-Manage administration staff to support work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or Senior Level experience as a
Real Estate Document Administrator.
Bachelor's Degree
PREFERRED:
Paralegal Certificate from accredited University or College
