Job Description

You will work in the Austin Corporate Data Center to provide 3rd level technical support for multiple Windows server-based 3rd party applications including:

• Hyperion BI+

• Hyperion Financial Reporting

• Hyperion Interactive Reporting

• Hyperion Web Analysis

• Hyperion ESSBASE

• Hyperion Financial Management

• Hyperion Planning

• Oracle IBMP (Formerly Stellent Acorde)

• Deltek Time Collection

• Deltek CFMS



Support includes the planning and execution of administrative tasks related to application maintenance on Windows server operating systems, resolving technical issues escalated by the user community, planning and executing upgrades, and participating in disaster recovery planning and exercises.



Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT staff and functional end-users to provide 3rd level support for the applications listed above.

• Provide senior-level, strategic and tactical application administration expertise for the Austin IT Infrastructure team.

• Define, implement, and manage application architectures, backup and recovery, etc.

• Monitor and streamline the health and performance of applications and their associated web services to increase business performance and continuity.

• Document and maintain disaster recovery procedures for associated applications.

• Document and maintain daily operational procedures and hand off procedures for execution to 24 X 7 Operations staff.



Job Requirements

• A Bachelor degree or comparable technical certifications in related field

• Highly motivated team player

• Minimum of 2 years experience managing web-based applications.

• Experience administering server application software and working with the associated user communities to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Experience constructing technical business requirements, and managing enhancement or upgrade projects.

• Experience with web and J2EE technologies such as Internet Information Server (IIS), Apache, Oracle Application Server, IBM WebSphere, BEA Weblogic, Macromedia Jrun, and/or Tomcat is a definite plus.

• Ability to troubleshoot Windows client and server operating systems from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Server.

• Experience with VBScript, Perl, other Windows scripting, or any of the listed 3rd party applications.
