Position Description:
Help save lives at the American Cancer Society’s National Cancer Information Center as a Quitline Counselor in Austin, TX. Provide information and structured telephone counseling to individuals attempting to quit using tobacco products.
Position Requirements:
Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, public health, or related field required. One year of counseling experience strongly preferred. English-Spanish fluency advantageous. Evening and/or weekend availability desirable.
Temporary 4 - 6 month assignment with possibility of moving to regular, full-time status.
