We are looking for a Developer 3(RP02) for State of Texas - Austin
Candidates should posses the following minimum knowledge and skills:
5 Years -Ability to process information logically; to design programs and systems logic; to prepare program specifications; to code, test, and debug computer programs; to interpret technical information related to computer programming and other areas of data processing; to communicate effectively; and to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
5 Years -Performing highly advanced and/or managerial (senior-level) computer programming work.
5 Years -Analyzes proposed computer applications in terms of equipment requirements and capabilities
5 Years -Preparing detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed computer applications
5 Years -Experience and knowledge of databases including DB2 and MS SQL
5 Years -Providing technical advice and assistance in matters related to programming techniques, standards, and activities
5 Years -Design and maintenance of database structures, and policy and procedure development designed to ensure integrity of the database environment
2 Years -Experience in database design and implementation using DB2 and MS SQL
Preferences:
10 Years -Analyzing proposed computer applications; and providing technical assistance
10 Years -Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions; to code, test, and debug computer programs; to determine software problems; to communicate effectively; and to assign and/or supervise the work of others.
5 Years -Prepares instructions for use during production runs and assists in preparing and developing instructions or manuals to guide end users
5 Years -Experience and knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis; of computer operations and procedures; and of computer programming languages including JAVA and
J2EE specifications
2 Years -Serving as Team Leader; planning, assigning, and/or supervising the work of others
2 Years -Experience interpreting M204 User Language
2 Years -JAVA development in accordance to J2EE specifications
2 Years -Java development in Websphere or WebLogic environment
2 Years -JAVA development using Rational Application Development
