It just dawned on me that it is Thursday night, and I haven't made any plans for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. I like doing just about anything, but especially love live music, movies, a nice meal, a day on the lake, or the occassionally drink at a funky bar. I'm looking for a smart/funny woman to do any or all of the above with this weekend, and in the future if we get along.



I am open to an LTR, but certainly won't die if I don't find one, besides I'm more comfortable with having fun and getting to know each other first before rushing into anything serious. Here's some basic information about me.



I am 45, white, divorced, unattached, DDF, social drinking only, have never smoked a cigarette (okay if you do though), height & weight proportionate, 6 feet tall, brown hair with a mustache. In terms of looks, I'm not Brad Pitt, but I'm not the elephantman either - I do get 'cute' from women once in a while. I have an advanced degree, I own my own busines, house, dog, socks, etc., but don't have alot of time to meet new people. There are times when I traval alot so hopefully that's okay - mostly in the states, but some abroad. I love travelling for pleasure, but don't get to do it as often as business travel.



So what I am looking for in a lady? I already mentioned smart and funny, and I should probably add self-sufficient and sweet - the older I get, the more important funny and sweet become. If you can meet those lofty expectations, then physical appearance isn't going to be a big issue. Hopefully you're in you're mid-30's to early 50's, have some of the qualities and interests mentioned above, are between 5' and 5' 11", height/weight proportionate (a few extra pounds are okay, but not too many), professional, educated, reasonably attractive, and hopefully a little adventurous. A person's race, religion, politics, etc. are not important to me as long as you're a nice person.
