Growth in our organization has created an opportunity for a Java Lead Developer. This person will focus on Java-based portions of development projects, and will bring versatility of experiences to work with other technologies as well.



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior level developer. Position will be a lead role and will involve reviewing and enhancing the overall project architecture. Position will involve full life cycle development, from initial requirements gathering and analysis, through development and testing. The primary skills involved will be Java, EJB, and JSP in a Windows environment. The applications are based on IBM FileNet, IBM WebSphere, and SQL Server/Oracle.

Projects here typically involve high performance servers, advanced networking/intranets-extranets, databases, multiple platforms, a variety of application languages and the technical architecture necessary to implement integrated systems. We enjoy the challenge of making these technologies work to the competitive advantage of our clients in both the government and commercial sectors.



General Description:

We are looking for a developer with 3+ years of development experience with a focus on enterprise level applications. Position in based in our office in the N. Mopac/Steck vicinity. Relaxed, refined environment populated with some of the best minds in the field. Some local travel to client locations around Austin and San Antonio will be necessary from time-to-time.



Required Skill Base:

1. 3+ years of development experience with previous team lead experience.

2. 2 years of Java with JDBC, JMS, XML, XSLT and J2EE

3. 1 year of experience working with Eclipse

4. Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle

5. Position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with management.



Preferred Skills:

1. .NET Development experience

2. Experience working with TomCat, WebSphere, or WebLogic





Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems and software enable government agencies and private sector organizations to manage the capture, storage, security, revision control, retrieval, distribution, preservation and destruction of documents and content.
