Position Summary:



The Senior Media Buyer and Planner will be tasked with managing all aspects of the company's online media strategy and activities including evaluation, negotiation, purchasing and reporting of online media campaigns. This position requires that you have a thorough understanding of online media buying (all of CPC, CPM, Search, e-mail, sponsorships, etc.) and solid experience running list of successful lead and member acquisition programs.



The ideal candidate is a self-starter, self-motivated, has a self-learning work approach, solid organizational and analytical skills, ability to take control, excellent written and verbal skills, ability to impart knowledge on various levels. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of Internet marketing, reporting and a strong focus on ROI. The candidate must possess a roster of contacts at networks and popular media properties to expedite negotiations and transactions.



Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.



Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Company-wide culture and demonstrating Championship Service Standards at all times.

2. Manage process and organization of online media campaigns from conception to execution

3. Manage large monthly budgets

4. Manage "day-to-day" activities to optimize campaigns

5. Evaluate, negotiate and purchase online placements

6. Develop campaign and creative analysis and optimization processes

7. Recommend strategic and tactical changes

8. Perform inventory forecasting

9. Manage buys in CPM, CPC, sponsorships, etc.

10. Manage SEM programs

11. Develop reports through analysis, present results to senior management and incorporate feedback to optimize campaigns

12. Review and negotiate terms and conditions as necessary with internal legal counsel and service providers

13. Set up and traffic online media placements using internal trafficking system



Minimum Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

2. Minimum 3 years of online media planning and/or buying experience and 4 years in the online marketing industry

3. Experience analyzing marketing data, 2-3 years preferred

4. Ability to maintain and organize all media paperwork and documents

5. Strategically participate during media plan development

6. Passionate about the Internet

7. Experience managing large monthly budgets

8. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience required
