Overview:

Works with senior developers to prepare specifications and user requirements. Assists with testing, debugging, and documenting programs. This position requires knowledge and experience in the following areas: flow diagrams; coding, testing and debugging and system administration.



Responsibilities:

• researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs

• developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification

• integrating existing software products

• maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects

• investigating new technologies

• creating technical specifications and test plans

• problem-solving and thinking outside the box

• support current products

• design and implement new products

• diagnose and research issues discovered by clients/coworkers

• conduct testing/integration of systems

• perform support for internal customers



Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of experience and relevant training or education

• 2-5 years of programming experience

• team player is a must

• must be comfortable with various flavors of Linux and Windows

• networking experience is a plus

• strong background in Object-Oriented Programming, software development life cycle and methodologies

• working knowledge of multiple languages: shell, perl, PHP, SQL, C#, HTML, XML

• good communications and interpersonal skills are a must
