RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this position include researching developing planning writing and editing paper and online documentation.

He/she will work with engineers other technical writers technical editors illustrators and desktop publishing specialists.

Writes and updates technical documentation ensuring technical accuracy clarity readability and adherence to established style standards.

Works frequently with engineering staff to understand and validate procedures to be documented.



PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

Thorough knowledge of grammar spelling and punctuation

Understanding and knowledge of technical writing

FrameMaker 7.0 experience

XML development experience PREFFERED

Detail oriented Interpersonal skills Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers



PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication English or Journalism



EXPERIENCE: 3-6 years
