Bilingual Family Advocate, Americorps Member

Posada Esperanza, a program providing shelter and support to homeless immigrant women and their children, seeks part-time Family Advocates. Family Advocates will participate in all areas of managing the shelter and educational programming. Additionally, Family Advocates will provide case management to two to four families to assist them in reaching their goals of self-sufficiency. The position is a part of the Keep Austin Housed Americorps program where excellent support and training are provided throughout the year of service.



Applicants should have an interest in serving homeless immigrant women and their children, proficiency in Spanish, and a desire to work in a setting that treats clients with support and compassion.
